    My Intrinsic Motives

    Thursday, October 18th, 2007

    Member Testimonial:

“I found Cameron Fous’ remarkable site during my morning ritual reading of “Seeking Alpha”, but when I also found his writing at “The Bull Trader” I took notice.  A quick trip to this web site revealed an exciting talent with an aggressive posture and a ‘take no prisoners’ mentality (“protect the PROFIT”) that is needed in this volatile and opportunity rich environment.  I am planning on walking with Mr. Fous for as long as he allows the company.  His site is THE PERFECT EXAMPLE as to how the internet has become the perfect forum for the average individual investor.  As I former US Army officer, I believe Cameron displays a unique leadership style common to great strategists…he does not scream “Charge” but rather states “Follow Me”…lead on Cameron…

    David Ross Hall”

thanks for the kind words David.

Its comments like this that keep me doin what im doin. I “could” do all my trading with out sharing my ideas here at ttt.net. Probably even trade better and have a lot more free time to do whatever. Though its not the extrinsic, but intrinsic rewards that make me feel good about myself and keep a smile on this face and the end of the day :) Its great to here that people enjoy my work here, and that its not just a big waste of my time.

    Regards..

EGMI.OB - Undervalued Penny Stock. You game?

    Thursday, October 18th, 2007

I’m super short on time right now as about to be late for a dinner meeting and i dont know if im gonna have computer access until tomorrow. But EGMI’s chart and valuation are looking very attractive at this point after todays breakout from its consolidation pattern to record highs.

Analysts are expecting eps of .09 in 08′ giving EGMI a very low forward PE of just 9.44x compared to the industries 33x mulitple. EGMI expects 60% growth in revenue as well. Given this data we could expect a future fair value 2.9. Todays closing price for EGMI was .85.

This chart and valuation look very promising, I believe this will be trading and sustaining prices above $1 in the not so distant future.

GSB - Small Cap on the Run (again!)

    Thursday, October 18th, 2007

Purchased some GSB today with a 1/2 position that got filled at 5.80 this morning as tech stocks rallied today as i expected. GSB broke out to record highs today on heavy volume confirmation indicating that this breakout is more likely to be legit. Analysts expect GSB to report eps of .34 in 2008 which gives this stock a future fair value of $9.18/share. Recently analysts gave GSB a 12 month price target of $8/share making this momentum stock look ready for us to capitalize on.gsb11.gif

Infosonics Corp. (IFON) - Small Cap Tech Stock on the Rebound

    Thursday, October 18th, 2007

    “Cameron,
IFON est. earnings for 2008 fiscal are @0.38/share…with an industry average of ~40x gives us a near forward price of just shy $16 per stub. That’s 192% annual growth since ‘05 and 103% growth since ‘06…’07’s earnings shit the bed and I gotta dig as to why .02 is all they’re gonna get. Current earnings do not allow them to fund their current debt from cash flow..but they have capital on hand as long as earnings pick up. ‘The Street.com, and Ford Equity say sell…might be time to buy
    David”

Thanks for the info David Smiley Applauds.

I havn’t dug into the reasoning of why they reported such low #’s this year either. Please update us on anything you find. All i know is that they fell into a slump this year and analysts are expecting them to become profitable, which gives us a reason for speculation and cheap shares cheap shares.

LazyCritic was curious as to why this was attractive as IFON’s PE according to Google was a 300+ multiple, according to Yahoo its 184 so thats kind of odd. But in any regards, PE ratios are important and many people use them for valuation. But the thing with the normal P/E ratio is that it is based off of past earnings and IFON reported only .02 eps as the last 2 quarters reported were negative .07 eps in total. Thus the cause of there extremely high current P/E ratio.

The more important ratio we want to look at is IFON’s forward PE ratio that sits at a very low 7.29x earnings compared to the industries 33x earnings. The future estimates are what have a significant influence on a stocks price action. I could really care less what a stocks current P/E ratio is. While of course i prefer it lower over anything else, the low forward P/E ratios are what we seek in a stock that is appealing and undervalued. Stocks don’t fluctuate based on past results, they react to current events and future forecasts.

Given an estimated .38 eps for 08′ and the industry average in communications equipment of 33x earnings we can expect a future fair value for IFON of 12.54 making this stock look very attractive and poised for growth in share price as today we’re currently sitting at a close of 2.77.

IFON had quite a volatile day and ended up down 6.73% on the day though i think this provided us with an opportunity to buy shares cheaper. Technically todays session looks decent as price dipped down to bounce off of the 13ema as well near the breakout point of the descending channel which usually gets retested before a continuation occurs.

I’m averaged in today at 2.75 after purchasing some shares at 2.87 and 2.63. ifon7.gif
