Black Service killed it today on our positions in SPNG and VG. We’ve been long SPNG since earlier this week when it first made a large run up on volume yet still underneath the breakout point of .18. In anticipation of the breakout i alerted the Black Service crew that i was going long @ .164. I finally took my profits on this position today locking in an awesome +30% gain in just a few sessions. Upside potential? Yes, but I’ve been quick to take my profits lately.
Second position Black Service shorted VG yesterday @ 2.06 after it mad that ridiculous run from around 50 cents upwards towards 2.50 in just 3 trading sessions. Once 2/share broke down today all hell broke loose and then finished the day strong for the bears closing near the low of day @ 1.37. I ended up covering this position slightly earlier in the session for an awesome 23% gain in just 1 trading session. VG closed down 31% today.

SPNG.OB, Spongetech, broke out of strong resistance today around .18 on increased volume after i purchased this stock yesterday for the Black Service portfolio @ .164 . I was anticipating the breakout above .18 yesterday and sure enough today it happened. Today marks the official breakout of the chart pattern so if things go as planned tomorrow should be the big move in this stock for confirmation of this breakout. A breakdown below .18 tomorrow will likely signal that this breakout is not as legit as we want it to be and could be time to exit the position and take our profit while we still have it.
Over all im very pleased with this position so far. We had some shaky intraday action but found a mass of buyers into the close where we ended the near the highs providing us with a lot of momentum going into tomorrows session. Short term goal would be to take profits near the past peak resistance around .25.

It was nice to be back for my first real trading session after being on vacation. The market was pretty volatile today though with a strong open yet a weak close, which formed a bearish shooting star candle formation on the DOW chart. Signifying a possible short term bearish top signal. Hence why i picked up some shorts today to bet on the downside potential here.
Yet also there were some very attractive long positions on the scanners today and i picked up 2 new great looking positions for the BLACK SERVICE portfolio and currently profiting on both positions.

Squeezed in One Solid Trade While On Vacation in Costa Rica. Back and Ready for Profits!

Back in the states now after taking a week off for my 25th birthday to celebrate down in Costa Rica. If you’re planning on traveling down there i highly recommend staying for longer than a week though. I was pretty bummed about having such a short time there as 1/2 of the time i was traveling on a bus or in a car rental getting to a destination. I only had the chance to visit Malpaiz and Tamarindo. Both were awesome though!
The day before my departure i sent out my last trade alert for BLACK SERVICE on MESA to buy @ .215 as it was breaking out from its ascending/symmetrical triangle pattern on increased volume. I set a stop @ .195 for the time being but ended up selling shortly after when price surged to a high of .30 and i sold @ .26. Internet in costa rica was actually fairly easy to get but man it was pretty slow. You could barely load a youtube video. MESA is still currently in consolidation mode after its first breakout that we traded so this stock could still definitely have some upside potential and i may even look for re-entry this week.
As for the general market of course the week that i decide to go on vacation the market snorts some cocaine and goes on a week long rampage for the bulls that i missed out on. I have no regrets of taking a vacation i wish i was still down there. But i hate to see missed opportunities pass me by! At least i was pleased to hear some of the Black Service members were able to pull out some hefty profits on some stocks while i was gone.
The DOW broke out to its all time high of this latest 6 month rally on increased volume pushing some strong momentum back into the bulls hands. Next resistance mark is a few hundred points ahead at 9,653 which is where the market could possibly peak at and could be an area where shorting opportunities could become prevalent.
Annnnnnddd Im Off to Costa Rica for a Week! Happy 25th Bday to Me :)
