Bullish Stock Charts: NEP, LMLP,EONC, CIIC, GPRE, SYNM, ASTI, FRE, FNM, SRZ
NEP – after breaking its bullish ascending triangle @ 6.50 price action got screwed and lots of people got shaken out , like me, when they issued dilution. Today was a continuation of yesterdays breakout.
LMLP – im super bummed i missed this stock on the breakout above $1. Some how this one slippped by me and blew up today on the $1 breakout!
EONC – volume was pretty low early morning but this thing really starting rocking into the close as it breaks its past two resistance peaks
GPRE – broke some heavy resistance @ 14 on heavy volume. Could see some momentum building here for a trend continuation
CIIC – After its huge move last week this broke its 2 days consolidation on increased volume. Could see this re-test its highs from last week .
SYNM – Inverted head and shoulders breakout here on increased volume. Indicating a continuation here
ASTI – ascending triangle breakout . could possibly make a quick run to 6. Most solars were strong today.
FRE and FNM – both gapped open BIG this morning and sustained gains throughout the session placing a lot of momentum on the bull side for both these mini giants
SRZ – breaking its symmetrical triangle on increased volume . price halted right around the 3.50 resistance area. could see a continuation if price starts heading above 3.50 zone.

CHTL has been a huge stock for the Black Service Crew with it blowing up to close @ 1.40 today and i alerted that i took the last of my profits @ 1.44 locking in 108% gain banking some huge profits. I first sold 1/2 position @ .90 and then let the rest ride. Looking @ the chart this could even run much higher up to 2-3$/share but can’t be super greedy i wanted to take my money and run while i still have it. I first bought CHTL @ .50 on its breakout and watched it rise above .60 only to come crashing down where i got stopped out @ .53. it made a low of .50 where i bought it @ first and then continued to run from there where i didn’t re-enter until .69.
Some people banked big on this like Black Service member Capricho!

Another Huge winner for us is NVLT which i first bought @ 1 and we watched it jump to the 1.20′s. Only to nervously watch it drop back below 1 for a few hours a day or 2 later and i alerted to buy more shares @ 1 again to load up on this support level. From there NVLT has exploded and now we are sitting near highs of 1.81 for todays close. The 2 day intraday chart is forming an excellent looking bullish ascending triangle with a breakout point in the mid 1.80′s . I alerted the crew that i bought more shares into the close @ 1.83 anticipating that this could run strong to 2+ if this ascending triangle pattern breaks. Look out for this to gap open tomorrow and possibly run hard to 2+!

Give a warm round of applauds to EliteG. Aka Gil. Those of you who have been around the ttt.net scene for a while know that EliteG is no stranger. Ive been following and trading with Gil since 2005 back @ 3stocksonfire.com. Elite made is claim to fame @ 3sof after coining the chart pattern know as the G-pattern which is an explosive breakout pattern typically played with on penny stocks. EliteG became a fairly popular member @ 3sof. So much so that people wanted to hire him.
In 2006 i was in the process of trying to figure out how to build this website as i was in the works of starting my own site as @ the current time i was just a member of 3stocksonfire.com trying to build a following and make a name for myself. I was looking for a partner in crime for my project here @ thetechnicaltrader.net . First person that came to my mind that i want to partner up with was this guy. Yet unfortunately I lost the BID war on this guy and 3stocksonfire.com ended up hiring him! Of course he took the 3sof opportunity as they were established and profitable. Where as i was just some 20 year old college kid with the fantasy of building the next 3stocksonfire.com. Little did he know that 3stocksonfire.com would shut down a year or so later and TTT.net is still running strong and business is booming 4.5 years later!! What was your motivation/trigger to get into trading?
I was a freshman in college and wanted to stand out from my engineering colleagues. I thought if I knew stocks then I would be more respected and it seemed like one could make some money. During my interviews I always brought up the stock of the company. I have a streak of getting a job offer from every interview I’ve ever had. So the strategy worked.
whats your trading time frame? (1 day? couple weeks?)
99% daytrading from seconds to hours but every once in a while I will hold plays overnight but I must think its a big play that is going to gap away and one that I would hate to lose my position on.
Do you trade anything other than stocks? Like Futures, options?
Stocks and little by little options.
Are you trading for a living? Or is this just a part time gig for you?
I am trading for a living.
What kind of things do you do when your not being lazy and clicking buttons on your computer to make money?
I play guitar but I usually do that while trading and being lazy. When not being lazy I like to workout, snowboard, tennis, soccer, cook, hike, is reading lazy (i actually can’t fall asleep without reading). I also tutor kids in any school subject and teach basic guitar. Just got done with chemistry for my lil bro. If its not family its $60 an hour.

.Tell us about your approach to the market. What is it that you look for in stocks that you trade?
I want havoc. I want momentum. Lots of money – no pink sheet thin stocks (ex: Tim and Lion crap shit). For daytrading I want to be on the right side of the market. I want to be in the industry group that is getting a forceful move. If it was on the news or will come up in my scans as a stock that moved I want to have played it. For overnight I want amazing value, amazing technicals, news, insanity potential.
What kind of trading set up do you have? Are you just hanging solo with a single monitor. Or are you riding dirty on four 22′s?
I have had computers in my life since I was 7. I worked in DOS so its hard for me to hear that someone is still using one monitor and that for trading.. crazy. I have recently upgraded to 4 monitors on a single desktop. One vid card with 2 outputs and 2 usb video cards. Its a 23, a 22, a 19 another 19 on top. The one on top has got some issues. It takes like an hour and a half to wake up and display stuff, its dim and sometimes buzzes but I feel like it gives the setup some character. Yea yea.. if all is nice next year I will upgrade to a sweet 6 monitor array and new desktop. But shit is going well so far.
Whats your favorite book that you read on the market that added the most value to your arsenal of knowledge?
My first book that I researched and bought about the market in 2000 was – How to Make Money In Stocks by William O’Neil – from that book I learned of the thing called technical analysis. I never even thought of looking at a chart before then. My greatest arsenal of knowledge was added when I began looking for some nice stock charts and found stockcharts.com. They have a free chart school where I learned about japanese candlesticks, patterns and every crappy piece of shit indicator. Side story, my trading skill grew 10 fold when I dropped stochastics, adx, macd.. and all those derivatives of the actual thing that makes you money -> price and volume. I have actually begun dropping moving averages even.. What was the question? Oh right books let me list some though that i do think are good reads. Let me know if you need the author: Reminiscences of a Stock Operator, Electronic Day Traders Secrets, Rule the Freakin Markets, The Master Swing Trader, Wall Street: A History from its Beginnings to the Fall of Enron, Guide to the End of Wall Street as We Know It.

What was the best trade that you ever made?
Just had my best trade with MCLN.ob. I made 35k in a 5 day hold over Thanksgiving. I bought in heavy @ .124 due to the possibility of a g-pattern trigger on 11/23. The next day I started off down around 50% but the stock recovered its morning loss and finished with a gain. I think the next 2 trading days were 1/2 days the Wednesday and Friday of Thanksgiving but the stock did not take the day off. It closed just under .04 that Friday. I held because the buying was steady and the volume bars were not extreme. No sign of exhaustion and a Friday close like that? I’m thinking gap big time on Monday. There is no trading pre and post market on otcbb but that Monday pre-market was awesome, lol. The bid kept climbing and the ask market makers kept lifting even without any trades. The stock opened @ .05 and ran to .07ish with extreme volume and me in disbelief as I sold pieces until I was done. It was a technical trade but I did read up on the company and felt confident that this was something that could create a run. Good management, industry was getting attention but most of all that chart. I am in what could certainly become my biggest play ever with NVLT.ob. I am up ~ 16k right now but it has greater than 100k potential.. it can also kick me in the balls.. we will see. Its a special play for me. I’ve never done as much research on a company – I feel like it is the culmination of all my past 10 years.
And of course.. Now tells us about your worst!
Ah there so many that I have blocked out.. hmm it would have to be when I lost 15k in an option when I was a junior in college. I had done so well with 2k my dad gave me like 30k to work with and chinese internets (SINA, SOHU, NTES) made that like 50k in a month. I would walk into my engineering classes late and this older student would be like, “ooh Mr. Trader decided to join us.. how much did you make today?” “Two thousand” (silence) “Fuckin shit!” Then my dad needed the cash back and left me with 20k… To go from unrestricted trading to 20k was.. hard to adjust to. I was playing overnight gaps.. my specialty at the time. Took a hit down to 15k and decided to try options. Have no idea where that idea came from. I just panicked and bought some out of the money calls on Ericson Wireless with my scottrade account at the time. I saw that nokia had blew out earnings and was ready to make 100% on my calls. Something I hadn’t even studied, what an idiot I was. Well Erickson blew out earnings.. yep I was correct.. but.. fuckers guided below next quarter. Stock dove. I had a month to wait for the options to expire worthless and then break the news to my dad. After this I began studying charts since I couldn’t trade..
