Fous Goes GREEN! Trading in the Maserati for a Cannondale

Yes its true. Im likely giving my Maserati quattroporte back to Jakesmotorcars.com to put up for consignment and going ECO-trader on this worlds ass. My cousin called me up 2 days ago and was all hyped up about wanting to start training for triathlons .. Am I? not really thats intense haha. But I am very fitness/health oriented in my life and strive to eat healthy and make it to the gym monday-friday. Then ruin it all and get trashed every weekend. So all the sudden i had this bike idea implanted in my head and the desire to get in better shape for this summer!
But as im getting older… eek… hangovers are killin me! It takes me like 2 days to recover now and mondays are tough.. But thats besides the point. Im a pretty impulsive buyer. Last year the day after st patties day.. obviously i was out that night. I woke up the next morning for the trading session(hung and drunk still) yet instead of really trading i was just browsing cars on ebay.. About 3 hours later i drove a maserati off the lot… It just so happened there was one local and i said screw it lets do this.

And you know i only get about 10 miles to the gallon in this thing.. And it sickens me to think about that and the environment. So FOUS has gone full GREEN and i bought a cannondale CAAD10 5 road bike! My new primary wheels. I really only drive to the gym, grocery store, and to lunch/breakfast on the weekends.
Just rode it about 10miles yesterday and hit the gym riding along the boardwalks that line mission bay/beach here in san diego. Time to get in supa shape as we head into the summer. Here it is look shiny and NEW.
ok ok … i was completely bullshitting about me being disgusted about my cars mpg and environment. haha… i tend to stomp on it a lot in my quattroporte and @ times im only getting about 9mpg. Im obsessed with cars, always have and always will be. And these wheels are only temporary. Im thinking 1-2 months of heavy riding to get in shape/hitting the gym. But during this time new car shopping begins. For yes.. another maserati probably even heavier gas hogging super car! But this time i’ll be ridin dirty in a newer and faster Gran Turismo. I was extremely close to buying a 2010 granturismo S a few months ago.. But.. my senses kicked it and i bailed on the deal as the $105,000 price tag was a weeeeeee bit excessive for my budget. Something like this is more in my range HERE
