Another consistant day of day trading for us here at ttt.net. We went 2 for 3 on our trades today with 2 awesome trades on ABK and SSCC, and took a small loss on DRYS early in the morning on a false breakout. Day Trading Stock Pick #1 : ABK

ABK was set on my watch list which was sent out to Black Service members sunday night and was looking for a move above $3/share on this stock. I went long at 2.83 on the short term breakout of descending resistance line, as well as bought another position at 2.96 when it appeared we were about to bust through $3. I ended up selling near the close at 3.09 as this struggled to maintain its highs and broke down. On the daily chart this stock looks awesome and looks like it could head to $4 which was my initial profit target. Yet with the election tomorrow there could be some erratic volatility in either direction and didn’t want to hold over night. So i will be watching ABK closely tomorrow for another trade.

Day Trading Stock Pick #2 : SSCC

SSCC was also a stock i posted on the watch list i sent out sunday night to keep an eye out on. I alerted Black Service members to go long in this stock on the breakout above 1.40. Price rallied pretty hard for the short term yet lost momentun as the market was pretty neautral for most of the day and couldn’t sustain any rallies. I sol at 1.47 on the breakdown of the 5m chart and as failed to hold prices above 1.50.

It was quite an exciting month here at ttt.net after September dragged on the portfolio making it the slowest month of the year. Yet with the economic crisis we have planted new seeds in the world of day trading and now have a live video feed of me trading every day! Looking back on Octobers trading we placed 43 trades with just about every one being a day trade. Of those 43 trades just 16 of them were for losses that were cut to the minimums. This was an excellent month for trading with the volatility providing a lot of opportunities long and short for day trades throughout the month.

Our Black Service stock picks ended the trading month of Oct. up 11.5% and this now makes us up 117% on the year while global markets just finished their worst month in the history of the stock market and our black service stock picks were up 11.5% on the month. Take a look at the snap shot from the ttt.net portfolio at the end of Dec 07: We were still kickin ass then. This was back when otcbb stocks were hot look at the gains we were pulling in on those stocks. And despite otcbb stocks lagging we have jumped 117% since then as the markets have tumbled.

Now you can see the current ttt.net portfolio of today.. Notice the increase of the ttt.net performance since april 30th 2006 when we launched this site, jumping to 677% . And the huge decline in the S&P from +23% to a wopping negative -25%!! We’ve had to endure some troubling times this year but we’re still live and kickin…. ASS!

And now for the review of October trades heres our 43 day trades made in October banking us 11.5% on the month and this is using just around 6.5% of total capital on each trade.

Day Trading Stock Pick #1 - MALL

PC MALL reported record earnings and issued a share buyback program causing some huge momentum in its stock price today after enduring the long lasting sell off. I alerted black service members to go long here at 3.55 on the initial breakout with a target sell area near $4/share which we hit near the close. I took profits at 3.97

Day Trading Stock Pick #2 - ODP

ODP was looking to make a very strong move into the close on the move above $3/share and i alerted black service members to go long at 2.92 prior to the actual breakout as market internals were looking strong. With the heavy volatilty into the close it was hard to say which direction the market was heading. I sold 1/2 at $3 and the rest at 3.14 fo a nice short term gain.

Technical Analysis

It was another volatile day in the markets as every one was cautious over the FED’s announcement of the 1/2 point rate cut which we all knew would likely happen. Most often the markets sell off on news like this if it is already expected to happen and known in the market. The Stock Market discounts future events that are expected. Its the surprises that spark a huge sudden move in the market. This is known as the buy the rumor sell the news theory.

We made some Big Trades today for our black service members and pulled in some big gains making this a hugely profitable week. The stocks traded today were LVLT, ARRS, SOLF, MF, MTG, and HERO. I’ll highlight some of the big winners.

Day Trading Stock Pick #1 - LVLT

I bought LVLT yesterday right near the close in hopes that we would see the breakout of the ascending triangle at $1/share today and we sure did. Unfortunately i was planning on buying some more today if price did in fact breakout above $1/share yet slept in about 45 minutues to much and missed the breakout. But at least i still caught it and made an awesome 22% gain. There was horizontal resistance around 1.20/share which is where i wanted to take profits.

Day Trading Stock Pick #2 - MTG

Next stock we tackled was MTG which was breaking out from another ascending triangle pattern (aka: my favorite and most reliable pattern) and i hopped in and alerted black service members to go long at 2.20. Price ramped up quickly on increased volume. I took my profits quick and sold at 2.35 and 2.71 near horizontal resistance. Price ran as high as 3.70 share even! Could have made some huge money on this if you bought on the breakout and sold at the top! But thats the fantasy world, no one does that except very rarely.

Technical Analysis :

We also made a quick trade on HERO bought at 7.05 and sold at 7.32 near the close. I had some excellent looking positions in ARRS, SOLF, and MF moving into the fed announcement yet got stopped out on the volatility after the 1/2 point cut.
