It was quite an exciting month here at ttt.net after September dragged on the portfolio making it the slowest month of the year. Yet with the economic crisis we have planted new seeds in the world of day trading and now have a live video feed of me trading every day! You can ask me to take a look at your favorite stocks and get my opinion on them for trade setups even.

Looking back on Octobers trading we placed 43 trades with just about every one being a day trade. Of those 43 trades just 16 of them were for losses that were cut to the minimums. This was an excellent month for trading with the volatility providing a lot of opportunities long and short for day trades throughout the month.

Our Black Service stock picks ended the trading month of Oct. up 11.5% and this now makes us up 117% on the year while global markets just finished their worst month in the history of the stock market and our black service stock picks were up 11.5% on the month. Take a look at the snap shot from the ttt.net portfolio at the end of Dec 07: We were still kickin ass then. This was back when otcbb stocks were hot look at the gains we were pulling in on those stocks. And despite otcbb stocks lagging we have jumped 117% since then as the markets have tumbled.

Now you can see the current ttt.net portfolio of today.. Notice the increase of the ttt.net performance since april 30th 2006 when we launched this site, jumping to 677% . And the huge decline in the S&P from +23% to a wopping negative -25%!! We’ve had to endure some troubling times this year but we’re still live and kickin…. ASS!

And now for the review of October trades heres our 43 day trades made in October banking us 11.5% on the month and this is using just around 6.5% of total capital on each trade.

Small Cap Stock Pick#1 :

This first stock made us a killing earliar in the year yet has tumled ever since into the sub-dollar levels currently trading at just .33/share. Theres been some recent bullish activity in which some of our members were able to capitalize on which was sparked by some PR’s about some new aquisitions. Looking at the chart we can see that a cup and handle pattern is forming here with a breakout price of .40. The increase in volume tells us that theres a good chance that this stock could breakout for round #2 in the near future. The stock is also being squeezed from the top by the 50ema resistance and from the bottom 13ema support so i breakout to the upside of the 50ema and the .40 recent high will be signs of a possible strong move ahead of us. Stock Pick #2:

This stock i’m looking to go potentially short on as it is up over 100% in the past few weeks and is sitting in a heavy resistance zone today after forming a bearish doji reversal candle. RSI is overbought and real profits havent been taken yet. WIth the Dow stock futures down 135 points currently it looks like tomorrow will likely be a day of selling giving us a good opportunity to short a position like this. I will be looking to likely go short here Thursday.

??? I sold this morning for a solid 9.5% gain after buying yesterday yet was weary about how stocks were going to react after the FNM FRE bailout rally. Well, stocks plummeted but this stock held up very nicely actually closing the session up more than 5% at 2.33 so this stock has some positive momentum in its favor. I went long again today at 2.28

???? made a solid run over the past weeks that i sat on the sideline and watched yet didn’t find an attractive chart pattern for me to play off of. Now that the stock has consolidated and formed a nice looking mini triangle pattern i think its very possible we could see another strong upside short term move to play off of. I went long here at 6.44 today.

??? has treated us very nicely in the past few weeks posting up some killer gains from 30 - 60% . It looks like this stock is ready and set to give us another go as price bounced strong near the $4 support area along the 13/9 ema’s. Looking at the chart we can see that its forming an ascending triangle/cup & handle formation on the verge of a breakout. I went long off of this strong support area at 4.55

??? i caught a little later than i would have liked to but still think we have a good position here at $2/share. I had been watching it after its latest huge rally on 8/29. Price then made the perfect bounce off of the 13/9 ema’s into fridays 24% rally. I alerted going long at $2/share as price closed at 2.10. This chart seems very explosive and believe we can make some good money here.

???? has been making a nice steady rebound since it hit its bottom in the low 2’s in mid July as insider began snatching up shares which got my attention for the first trade we made on this stock not too long ago which we traded for just a 3% gain. I believe we can pull some bigger profits out of this stock this time around. I alerted going long at $4/share.

??? had a strong opening today on the fall in oil along with with the rest of its industry. Although most of these stocks went from a strong open to a weak close forming a bearish shooting star candles which suggests short term negative momentum for these stocks with the possibility of filling their gaps more likely. 

Technical Analysis:

Looking at the chart we can see there is some strong resistance near the $12 area with todays high peaking near this area where sellers and profit takers took control quickly. Being that this shooting star candle occured near a resistance level its much more likely that we will see a bearish reaction to follow. Preferrably we would like to see price retrace and fill the gap around $10. I alerted short at 11.16 with a stop around 11.55 or so.
